A leading retailer had initiated an organisational re-design to release a multi million pound cost saving and improve customer service. To take full advantage of the benefits, it was vital that the company’s 1500 Deputy Managers were able to take on increased responsibilities.

We created a detailed learning programme that combined the client’s best practical skills training with high impact managerial and business improvement modules. To complement this, a delivery system was created which used multiple-mode learning made up of foundation courses, self-paced study, web-based assessments, classroom-based workshops and mini projects. It also gave managers the chance to solve real problems and deliver bottom line business benefits. The benefits were measured, achievements rewarded and successes directly led to career progression.
