Collaboration drives cost down and margins up
A food retailer realised that there were significant business benefits to be had by optimising their purchasing and supply chain processes and by re-structuring their supply base.
We designed and then jointly delivered an in-depth performance improvement programme that reduced operational costs whilst maintaining quality and creating a cost-conscious culture. As part of the programme we trained and coached over 800 people and embedded the new processes to ensure sustainability.
Costs were reduced by over £700m. Together, Boxwood and our client won a National Training award.
