Partnering to drive up growth and double EBIT
Our partner, a FTSE100 European retailer, has embarked on an ambitious programme to transform the business and to double EBIT over three years.
Despite recent successes built on innovation, entrepreneurship and rapid action, it had become clear that the old ways of working and changing were no longer effective. Business processes and systems were creaking, people were stressed and operational execution was poor. Market conditions for the core product offering were also weakening, threatening growth.
Working with and enthusing people across the business, our joint team set about implementing a series of changes that would:
- Drive up productivity and profitability within the core business
- Grow market share
- Develop, test and launch - at pace - a new set of market offerings
In just four months, the programme delivered more than £10m of sustainable EBIT improvements and assured the successful launch of two vital new market offerings.
