Changing attitudes and moving forward
A public sector regulator and service provider came to us looking for ways to help its management team and its largely professional work-force break with the past and move forward.

Failings on both sides, coupled with attitudes and working practices that had remained largely unchanged for 20 years, had delayed the introduction of a series of changes that would have improved customer service, cost effectiveness and, paradoxically, employee remuneration.

We worked with the management team to introduce an entirely new way of addressing change in the organisation - one based on openness and honesty, respect and trust. Through a deliberate and progressive engagement of staff using dialogue and 'powerful conversations', positive changes were made. The organisation now has a streamlined operating model and clarity about the future and the contribution individuals are expected to make.
