Smoothing the transition from public to private
Boxwood was asked to help manage the transition of a large tranche of staff as part of a major MOD outsourcing initiative. The staff were transfering under a TUPE to a managed service provider.
This mixed (civilian and military) workforce supported the delivery of critical IT systems to over 10,000 users around the UK and across several operational locations. Fearing significant service disruption through this process, our client asked us to design a change programme that would ensure the workforce was better structured, more effective and better equipped to face the future, without compromising service levels for the end users.
